The Laboratory for Structural Chemistry of Unstable Species was found in the 1970’s in Institute of Chemistry in CAS, The State Key Laboratory for Structural Chemistry of Unstable and Stable Species (USSLab) was established in 1987, which is jointly operated by Institute of Chemistry, CAS and Peking University. The aim of USSLab is to have innovative achievements in the basic research and applied research of structure dynamics of unstable and stable, and to be as    an influential research center and training center in the international structural chemistry.
